Numa8 ("we," "our," "us") provides a personal health and wellness application that helps you log habits, analyze data, and receive AI-powered coaching. Your privacy matters to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

  • Account Information: Name, email, and preferences you provide when creating an account.
  • Logs & Entries: Nutrition, training, sleep, supplements, peptides, mood, and other health-related data you choose to enter.
  • Uploads: Lab results, photos, or documents you choose to upload.
    • By default, we extract structured data (e.g., "Ferritin: 28 ng/mL") and then delete the original file.
    • Progress photos are stored only if you enable this feature in settings.
  • Device & Usage Data: Basic app analytics, device type, crash reports.
  • Integrations: If you connect Oura, Apple Health, or Google Fit, we may sync data such as sleep, heart rate, or activity.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve the app experience.
  • Personalize recommendations from AI Advisors.
  • Display trends and progress over time.
  • Provide reminders, notifications, and motivational messages.
  • Aggregate anonymized data for product improvement.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Storage & Deletion

  • Structured text data (logs, lab values, advisor sessions) are stored securely in our database.
  • Uploads are processed and then deleted unless you enable "Keep Photos."
  • You can request account deletion at any time, which removes your personal data from our systems.

4. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure storage practices. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Health Disclaimer

Numa8 is not a medical service and is not covered by HIPAA. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions.

6. Children's Privacy

Numa8 is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted providers for hosting, analytics, and integrations (e.g., Supabase, Expo, Oura API, Apple HealthKit). Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
